FOX 53 INSIDER: Pittsburgh's Mike Silverstein eliminated from 'MasterChef' competition

PITTSBURGH -- After a nationwide search, Pittsburgh's Mike Silverstein was selected to compete on the 10th anniversary season of "MasterChef" on FOX 53.

Despite a valiant effort showing off his many talents in the kitchen, Silverstein was eliminated from the competition on last night's episode.

Silverstein joined this FOX 53 INSIDER to talk about how he earned his way onto the show through an extensive elimination process, what inspires his work in the kitchen and how proud he is to represent the city of Pittsburgh.

This 10th anniversary season of "MasterChef" once again features an iconic lineup of judges, including award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich.
