RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) -- Crayola has launched new crayons aimed at cultivating a more inclusive world for children.

The company released the "Colors of the World" line, featuring 24 new crayon colors representing 40 global skin tones.

Crayola says it hopes the 'Colors of the World' line will increase representation and foster a greater sense of belonging and acceptance among children.

"With the world growing more diverse than ever before, Crayola hopes our new Colors of the World crayons will increase representation and foster a greater sense of belonging and acceptance," said Crayola CEO Rich Wuerthele in a statement. "We want the new Colors of the World crayons to advance inclusion within creativity and impact how kids express themselves."

It comes in exclusive 32 or 24-count boxes.

The company says they are being sold at Walmart stores and online for $1.77.
