PITTSBURGH -- As springtime gets underway in Pittsburgh, did you know there are 165 parks in the Pittsburgh Parks system?

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is a nonprofit organization working closely with the City of Pittsburgh to help restore the city's parks and open spaces.

Jayne Miller joined the organization as President and CEO a year ago after serving as Superintendent of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, which was named the No. 1 U.S. park system under her leadership.

Miller recently appeared on "Issues on the Point" to discuss the "Parks Listening Tour" currently underway in area communities and the need for reinvestment and restoration of Pittsburgh parks.

Learn more about the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and how you can get involved on their website.

Watch "Issues on the Point" every Sunday morning at 6:30 on 22 the Point.
