PITTSBURGH -- When it comes to fighting Alzheimer's disease and caring for those affected by it, some of the best work in the country is being done in Pittsburgh.
The Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association - based in Pittsburgh - covers 59 counties throughout the state and is gearing up for one of its biggest fundraising campaigns of the year.
The Longest Day campaign is happening June 21, highlighting enjoyable activities people can take part in, in honor of a loved one suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Alyssa Marsico and Diana Rua of the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association recently spoke with WPNT's Jordan Conigliaro about the event and how anyone can get involved.
