PITTSBURGH -- Immediately following the Oct. 27 Tree of Life synagogue mass shooting, one of the first local organizations to provide immediate support to the community was Squirrel Hill's own Jewish Family and Community Services.
The organization was called on in a moment's notice in its own neighborhood, but provides the same support and services year-round throughout the Pittsburgh region.
Jewish Family and Community Services offers social service solutions to families and individuals without regard to race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, place of birth, sex, sexual orientation, familial status, age, handicap or disability.
President and CEO Jordan Golin and Director of Clinical Services Stephanie Small recently joined Jordan Conigliaro on "Issues on the Point."
Donations to support the work of JFCS can be made on their website: https://www.jfcspgh.org/.
Watch "Issues on the Point" every Sunday morning at 6:30 on 22 the Point.
