PITTSBURGH -- The music man is back on FOX.
Randy Jackson became a household name as a judge on "American Idol" on FOX. Now, the beloved television personality and award-winning music producer returns to FOX as the band leader on "Name That Tune", airing Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Pittsburgh's FOX 53.
Jackson joins the FOX 53 INSIDER segment to talk about this reboot of the classic game show, working alongside host Jane Krakowski, his recent health and diet changes and what viewers can expect from his new role as the band leader.
"Name That Tune"
The all-new rendition of musical game show "Name That Tune" tests contestants’ music knowledge, as they battle it out in an assortment of challenging musical games for cash and prizes.
Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski hosts, and Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson serves as bandleader.
Each contest features a rotating variety of games from the original format, before the iconic Bid-a-Note round. The player with the most money at the end of Bid-a-Note wins the game and takes his or her bank into the Golden Medley bonus round, for a chance to win additional cash and potentially the $100,000 grand prize.
