WASHINGTON (SBG) — Girl Scouts is giving cookie lovers and breakfast fans alike a new reason to get excited for 2021.

The organization is adding a new sweet treat to the lineup – a French Toast-inspired cookie called Toast-Yay! Dipped in white icing and stamped with the iconic trefoil logo on top, the creation is "full of flavor in every bite" and will only be available in select areas, according to the press release.

Cookie enthusiasts are encouraged to contact their local Girl Scouts council to learn more about availability and sale dates.

In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the organization this year created a platform called "Girl Scouts Cookie Care" that allowed customers to safely order cookies for home delivery. During the 2021 season, Girl Scouts will continue to sell the sweet treats online and through "virtual cookie booths" on social media.

The latest addition to the lineup was back in January with the Lemon-Up cookie that featured inspirational messages.
